Brilliant. I had a good visit with our Bishop, Seraphim, about Chekov's "The Bishop." It is one of his favourites as well.

It's a tremendous story. Interestingly, some people say that Chekhov's stories offer a more positive picture of the Church than Dostoevskii's novels. Chekhov wasn't a believer, though.
